For the 2018 season PENN introduces two new adds for the Slammer III range - The Slammer III HS (High Speed).

The PENN® SLAMMER® III HS is an addition to the third generation of the SLAMMER® reels. 

They are the high speed versions, available only in two sizes (6500 & 8500). 

The 8500 has 50lb's of drag and has a ratio of 5.3:1 with 49.5 inches of line retrieval per turn of the handle. 

The 6500 has 40lb's of drag and has a ratio of 6.2:1 47 inches of line retrieval per turn of the handle. 

In the box, includes two reel handles: a 2oz jigging handle and its original football shaped handle.
