Mustad Fishingreport January

Mustad Fishingreport

In northern Europe the winter has been really slow, the ice has not arrived until now!
But this means great opportunities for predator fishing in open water for pike.

Our pro-staffer David Gross (SWE) makes his living as a fishing guide and in early January he had a great day fishing in open water with his clients.

One of his clients managed to land this beautiful pike, with a length at 114 cm and weighing 11,24 kgs! A winter pike in perfect condition.

David and his clients used different hardlures loaded with super sharp Mustad Triple Grips.
But the day did not stop with a big pike; They also landed several nice zanders in the cold water!
If fishing in open water at this time a year could always be this good, who needs ice?
